Bin ich gerade bei der LORP drübergestolpert.
Die Meldung kam gestern ziemlich überraschend. Der “Flames of War” und “Galeforce Nine” Hersteller “Battlefront” und der britische Online-Shop “Maelstrom Games” gehen getrennte Wege, so die Pressemeldung:
“Battlefront Miniatures Ltd of Auckland, New Zealand announces that Maelstrom Games of Mansfield, United Kingdom is no longer a retailer of its products. This applies to all brands and ranges sold by Battlefront Miniatures Ltd.
With immediate effect Maelstrom games will no longer be one of our retailers. Any customer who has advance orders for product yet to come out should contact Maelstrom to confirm their ability to supply or contact us directly and we will put you in touch with an alternative supplier. “

Soweit, so uncool, nun folgt aber Maelstrom Games mit einer Pressemitteilung und einen Abdruck des vorangegangenen email-Verkehrs. Das ist nicht professionell, aber dafür wird tüchtig schmutzige Wäsche gewaschen …
Ich hoffe mal nicht, dass es sich auf die Verfügbarkeit der Galeforce Nine-Sachen auswirkt, das wird sich letztlich zeigen.

Bist Du Kunde bei Maelstrom? Wenn nicht, solltest Du keine Probleme haben, Battlefront, Gale Force 9 usw. auch weiterhin zu bekommen.
Hier gehts doch nur um einen Streit zwischen Händler und Hersteller.

War mir nicht sicher, wie exklusiv maelstrom das vertreibt als Zwischenhändler und bin beruhigt, wenn es Galeforce Nine weiterhin gibt.
Die Pressemitteilung ist trotzdem recht spektakulär.

GF9 bekommt man eigentlich in allen gut sortierten Tabletop-Läden. Das Fantasy In in Hannover führt das Sortiment, der Onlineshop Microconstruct auch. Da wird es keine Engpässe geben

Roland konnte mich ja schon beruhigen, das meiste gibt es ja auch bei ihm. Aber noch kein Battlefield in the Box …
